We understand that sometimes life happens. Maybe your pet has scratched, clawed or chewed your carpet, or maybe when sliding that new piece of furniture you got, you accidentally tore a hole. Whatever the case may be, we’re here to help. Instead of replacing all your carpet, many times simple repairs can be made to bring it back to its best state. This is where we step in. We offer a wide variety of carpet repair services such as:

Carpet patching

If you have a damaged piece of carpet, or an area with a hole, carpet patching can help. What we do is cut out the existing damaged area, and replace it with a “donor carpet” piece of the same size, type and color. We bond this new piece of carpet, to the existing carpet, keeping it from ever moving out of place.

Carpet stretching

If your carpet is wrinkling or buckling, then it likely needs to be stretched (especially if your carpet is not that old). When it comes to stretching, what we do is pull the carpet tighter and re-clip it to the tack strips along the perimeter of the room. This allows us to remove any bumps, wrinkles, or bubbles that may have formed on the surface of your carpet. Carpet stretching extends the carpet's lifespan, reduces the chances of slipping or falling, and it keeps the carpet looking as new as possible.

Carpet seam repair

Whether it’s an open seam, visible seam, or frayed seam, if you have a carpet seam that you would like repaired, we have a solution for all of them. Depending on the type of seam, we use different methods. If you have a seam you would like repaired, please contact us or schedule an in-home consultation.

Carpet stair repair

If a stair or two is damaged, there are usually several solutions. It all depends on the reason for the damage as well as the extent of it. If, for example, your cat clawed at one or two particular steps, then we can likely patch those spots with pieces from another room or location in your home.

Pet damage repair

If your pet has taken a liking to a certain area of your carpet, whether it be by urinating on it, or clawing or chewing at it, we can help. We will cut out and remove the damaged section of your carpet, and replace it with a seamlessly matching piece. We bond this new piece of carpet, to the existing carpet, keeping it from ever moving out of place. Once the job is complete, only you will know anything was ever done.

Burn mark removal

If your carpet has any burn marks (whether they be from a hair straightener, curling iron, iron, etc.) we can help remove these. Depending on the type of burn and damage done, we will take appropriate measures to either tend to the specific fibers, or carpet patch the entire section (replacing it with a new seamless match).

Padding replacement

Carpet padding is the padding that sits underneath the actual carpet. If your carpet padding is worn out, but your actual carpet is still in good shape, you can replace just the carpet padding. We will carefully pull back the carpet, remove the existing padding and replace it with the new padding. We use the proper adhesive to keep the padding in place. Once the padding is in place, we lay the carpet back down and properly attach back to the tack strips.

Tack strip replacement

Carpet tack strips are narrow pieces of wood that are used to keep your wall-to-wall carpet in place. They're studded with tons of nails (or tacks) and are installed along the perimeter of the walls, tack-side up. Sometimes water damage will weaken tack strips, or they will pull up off of your concrete floors, if this is the case, we can absolutely replace them. When replacing tack strips, we pull up your carpet, remove the existing tack strips, replace them with new tack strips, and then securely reattach your wall-to-carpet to the new tack strips.

Threshold / Transition repair

If you have carpet that has pulled loose from your threshold, or if you are having trouble blending the transition between your two types of carpet, or carpet and hard surface flooring, there are several options. We have the necessary tools and skills to properly “tuck” the loose carpet back under the existing threshold. We can also replace your existing threshold, or add one for the first time, making it so you have a smoother transition between flooring surfaces.

Whenever it comes to flooring (or even area rugs) we always suggest to act fast. As soon as you notice something, please notify us. From there, we will assess the situation and provide you with—usually—a few different options. We are the very best at what we do because of our extensive industry experience. Having been in business for over 20 years, we have seen it all and we have repaired it all. If for some reason we cannot repair the damage, it’s because it’s simply time for the carpet to be replaced. We are always honest about this (and everything else, as well). If the repair is not worth the money, we will be sure to let you know right away.
